A second newsletter, for different hours
There are things that don’t belong in daylight.
My new ‘THE REDACTED EDIT’ is where I dissect the machinery - how power moves, how influence operates, how systems program us to comply.
It’s forensic work. Necessary work. Tuesday work.
But after midnight, different truths emerge.
I’ve been writing other things. Letters that blur the line between strategy and surrender, essays that treat feelings like intelligence operations, poetry that reads like classified documents… the soft underbelly of all this systems thinking because what’s the point of understanding power if we can’t feel anymore?
Introducing The Velvet Letters - a separate newsletter for the emotional insurgent.
This is where I’ll send the writing that’s too raw for strategy guide and too tender for takedowns. There will be pieces that acknowledge what we all know but rarely admit: that feeling deeply in a numbed world is its own form of resistance.
Think of it as the unauthorised autobiography of your inner life.
Love letters to unnamed longings.
Field notes from the soft coup happening in your chest.
These won’t be self-help psalms or wellness word salads.
I’m still allergic to manufactured vulnerability and Instagram therapy but I’m interested in what happens when we apply the same rigor to feeling that we apply to thinking. What happens when we treat emotions as intelligence rather than interference?
Here’s how this works:
For the next two months, The Velvet Letters will be free. A public experiment in private feeling to show you what this space holds and what happens when the contrarian gets tender.
After that, it becomes paid not because feelings are a luxury, but because intimacy requires boundaries. Some rooms need velvet ropes.
The Velvet Letters will arrive like classified documents for your inbox for those who want both edges of the blade: the sharp analysis and the soft ache.
If THE REDACTED EDIT is where we plot the revolution, The Velvet Letters is where we admit why we need one.
For those who think with their hearts and feel with their minds.

With pleasure. Can you share the link of this after hours newsletter please? I couldn't find it myself.
